Itinerary

Day 1 – Leave Chongqing city

Cruise will depart from Chongqing Chaotianmen Port at 9:00 pm (Cruise is VICTORIA or PRESIDENT).

 

Day 2 – First day of the cruise (B, L, D)

At 6:30 am you will have a Taichi Class to start the day full of energy and joy. After breakfast, you can stay in the boat doing some activities or do the optional excursion to Fengdu Ghost City (Own expense). In this Tang Dynasty town you can learn about Chinese ghost culture, the afterlife, and to see what the Chinese would call a “model of hell.” After lunch, you will visit Shibaozhai, a temple with an unusual shape that looks like a pyramidal pagoda. After dinner, you will enjoy a minorities and dynasty costumes show.

 

Day 3 – Second day of the cruise (B, L, D)

In the morning you can do the optional excursion to the White Emperor City (own expense), a town home to many poets due to its beautiful scenes and architecture. You will sail through the Qutang Gorge and the Wu Gorge, as well as Goddess Stream. In the night, you will enjoy the captain’s farewell banquet.

 

Day 4 – Third day of the cruise (B)

At 8:00 am you’ll arrive at Huang Ling Miao and transfer to the Three Gorges Dam, the biggest hydro-electric project in the world completed in 2009. The Three Gorges Project brings benefits in all aspects of flood control, power generation, tourism, ecological protection, South-North water transfer and irrigation, outperforming any other large hydropower stations in the world. Afterwards, your cruise will end in Yichang where you will disembark.

 

A mandatory fee of 150 RMB (Chinese Yuan) will be collected prior to boarding the cruise, please bring the appropriate amount of cash for this fee.

 

Note 1: This itinerary and the times on it are subject to change depending on the river condition and weather.

Note 2: There is an option to choose the transfer service. If you choose the option then your driver can meet you at airport /train station in Chongqing and transfer you to the cruise. When you arrive at Yichang your driver will meet you at the cruise and transfer you to the airport or railway station in Yichang.

 

Note 3: Cruise names for your reference: Sundays is Victoria Ana Cruise (VA), Mondays is Victoria Grace (VG), Tuesdays is Victoria Jenna (VJ), Wednesdays is Victoria Katarina (VK), Thursdays is Victoria Lianna (VL), Fridays is Victoria Selina (VS) and Saturdays is Victoria Sophia (VSP)

 

Note 4: Cruise name of President for your reference: Tuesday is President No. 6, Wednesday is President No.7, Friday is President No.8

 

Note 5: President is highly recommended because the cruise are in better and newer condition. However, since it is not daily departure, so Victoria Cruise can be your good backup.
