Marvel at the wall, approximately 9 miles (14 km) in length and surrounded by a deep moat, before continuing on to visit the city’s Muslim Quarters and then the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Built in AD 652 during the Tang Dynasty as a holy place for Buddhists, it remains an iconic symbol of old Xi’an. Standing in the Da Ci’en Temple complex, this pagoda was built to house important Buddhist relics and figurines brought from India. From here, hop back in your private vehicle for the transfer to the Xi’an airport in time for your return flight.
